Introduction to Graphic Design


Overview

This course provides an introduction to Graphic Design for print. It teaches design principles and stylistic concepts to visually communicate a message and covers layout techniques for various print media. Students learn how to concept, design and implement their creative ideas using industry-standard software.

  • Designing and editing digital images and graphics for print
  • Typography – letters and words as communication tools
  • Logo design fundamentals
  • Use of color, shapes, design principles and stylistic design elements for visual communication
  • Layout and desktop publishing for print
  • Portfolio design – successful presentation of creative work

Workshops & Courses at Innovation Floor are held in Hi2 (Hamdan Innovation Incubator) a comfortable envrionment specially built for the program, furnished with sofa and rooms equipped with internet access, video projectors, and laptops for the trainees’use.




Trainees also enjoy their own Booth for practical exercises.
